So much for the intellectual community on Deviant art. That community exists of apparently two people.


Regardless... I still enjoy coming here.

I enjoy seeing all your work. I also enjoy the two comments I get on my submissions. I just need to get a daily deviation so I can finally get some input on my works.

People say this site is nothing but a popularity contest, usually the people that say that are the ones that are losing that contest. I would agree to some extent however

I don't think that it's a popularity contest for the sake of being popular. Not for me at least. I partake in the popularity contest simply for the fact that if I become more popular, I get more feedback. The feedback is what allows me to grow as an artist. I've grown light years in my art since i started at DeviantArt. That is due to the works I've seen here, as well as the comments and input i've received from the other users in this community?

So is this a popularity contest? Yeah. I dont think for the wrong reasons though. I think its understandable that people want to be popular here, because it allows for their work to be criticized more.


So anyway. Love me. Then criticize me. It's what I'm here for, and why I keep submitting.
